STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
GB silicone gasket is non-hazardous for transport,and should be stored in dry places under which it has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture
NOTES
Installation can be easier and smooth by dipping profiles in silicone oil or saponification liquid.
Gasket is not allowed to be much pulled and stretched during installation, and the length of the strip must be about 1% longer than the profiles to avoid seal failure caused by strip shrinkage.
The gasket for the corner of window and door should be cut into 45°angle, and the edge should be kept well connected to prevent cracking when shrinkage occurs.
If there is breakage of strip, don’t set it at the corner. Better set it in a longitude direction during installation, butt the breakages well and bond firm with adhesives.
