Curtain Wall Weatherproofing Silicone Sealant Class 35
One part, neutral cure silicone sealant with excellent weatherability, ideally suited for movement joints seal.
FEATURES
Excellent weatherability, virtually unaffected by sunlight, rain, snow and ozone.
Neutral cure – suitable for use on metals, coated glass, aluminum panels, terracotta panels, concrete materials, galvanized steel and many other substrates.
Extension/compression movement capability of up to ±35 percent of the original joint width.
Excellent resistance to temperature extremes, stable and flexible over the temperature range from –50 ℃ to +150 ℃.
Excellent unprimed adhesion to a wide variety of building materials.
Easy of application-ready to use as supplied.
Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
BASIC USES
GUIBAO 998 Silicone Weatherproofing Sealant is designed for:
General weather sealing and glazing in glass curtain walls, aluminum curtain walls and terracotta curtain walls.
Sealing the joints of concretes, plastics, metals and etc.
COLOURS
GUIBAO 998 is available in black, gray, white and other customized colours.

Chinese specification GB/T 22083-2008 35HM.
Complies with ASTM C 920.
PACKAGING
GUIBAO 998 is available in disposable cartridges (net 300ml) ,24 pieces to a carton and sausages (net 590ml),20 pieces to a carton.
CURE TIME
As exposed to air, GUIBAO 998 begins to cure inward from surface. Its tack free time is about 70 minutes, the full and optimal adhesion forms in about 21 days.
SHELF LIFE
It has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
LIMITATIONS
GUIBAO 998 should not be applied:
As structural sealant.
To the materials that bleed oils , plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated wood, oil-based caulks.
In totally confined spaces as sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure.
To frost laden or damp surfaces.
For continuous water immersion.
When substrate surface temperature below 4℃ or over 50℃.
To copper, zinc or lead coated surfaces.
