Product Description

Hitecmen PU9588 is a one-component moisture curable polyurethane adhesive sealant without solvent, which manufactured under a strict quality-controlling system, applicable to the direct assemblage of motor cars, as well as sealing and maintenance of all vehicle body and glass, mechanics, shipping, military, etc..

Application
Sealing and maintenance of all vehicle body and glass, mechanics, shipbuilding, military, automobile, track, large screen, decoration and etc..

Pretreatment

The substrates must be clean, dry, oil and grease free. For cleaning, Cleaner is suitable.

Application from 310ml cartridges and sausages

Application from 310ml cartridges is made with the manual or pneumatic pistol, and for sausages with the corresponding manual or pneumatic pistol. In the case of compressed air application a pressure of 2-5 bars is required.

Application from drums and hob bocks

Hitecmen 9588 can be applied from hob bocks with high pressure pumps with follower plates, which must have the following characteristics:

- the entire equipment, including hoses and pipes, must be moisture tight;

- the follower plate must be driven by a double pneumatic of hydraulic ram;

- a minimum pressure-transmittance ratio of 48:1;

- centering of the container.

Application of the adhesive is carried out either manually or by an automated application system (CNC or robot), often using heads especially designed to give particular bead characteristics. Hitecmen can recommend suitable suppliers of manual and automatic equipment.

Cleaning

For cleaning application equipment contaminated with uncured Hitecmen 9588 we recommend the use of Cleaner.

Surface Tidying

The glue overflowed from seams can be planed with spatulas or soap water.
